We all know the seven churches of the Apocalypse.
Eusebius doesn’t seem to know them nor does Victorinus. They both clearly know about the Apocalypse but neither connects the seven churches of the Apocalypse to the Apocalypse. This oddity has been ignored by the historians. Is there an explanation for this? I believe there is.
Both these third century sources can tell us what was known about the Apocalypse at that time. Their writings raises questions that should be addressed. They will be addressed after we take a look at other oddities. Watch this space.
